WATER is essential,
for many have lived without possessions, but no one has lived without water.

Since the time I was two, I have grown up in and around the pool. From watching my sisters swim meets to swimming in my own and working at the pool I learned to swim in, water has always been a common thread throughout my life.
SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMING
When I was just two my sister joined the synchronized swimming community, but it wasn't until she threw in the towel and began coaching that I hopped in and fell in love with the sport. Once I jumped in, I was hooked. I had a passion for the sport instantaneously. I swam competitively for four and a half years, traveling around the country to Florida, New York, Texas, and taking 5th in the most competitive age group at U.S. nationals. I chose to give up this passion, not because I lost interest, but because I could no longer dedicate the time necessary to be elite. Although I'm a "retired" swimmer, I stay involved coaching when I can. |
